By placing an order with Paws and Stitches, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
- GENERAL
These Terms of Service govern the use of our website, products, and services. By purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.
- PRODUCTS
All products are subject to availability.
As many products are handmade, slight variations in colour, appearance, stitching, materials, and finishing may occur. These variations are part of the unique nature of handmade items and are not considered defects.
Product photographs are provided as accurately as possible; however, colours may vary depending on individual screen settings.
- CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom orders are created specifically for the customer based on the information provided at the time of ordering.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all details, spelling, names, dates, images, and design requests are accurate before production begins.
We reserve the right to decline any custom order at our discretion.
- DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the quoted project price is required before work will commence on custom orders.
The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to collection, delivery, or shipment of the completed item.
Failure to pay the final balance may result in delays to delivery or cancellation of the order.
- ESTIMATED COMPLETION TIMES
Any completion timeframes provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to workload, supply availability, illness, family commitments, shipping delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Customers requiring an item for a specific date must notify us before placing their order. While every effort will be made to meet requested deadlines, completion dates cannot be guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
- CANCELLATIONS
Customers may cancel a custom order before work has commenced.
If work has commenced, the 30% deposit is non-refundable.
We reserve the right to cancel any order and provide a refund of monies paid where we are unable to complete the order.
- DIY KITS
DIY kits may be returned within 30 days of delivery provided they are unused, unopened, and in their original condition.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.
- SHIPPING
There are no shipping fees.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
We are not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, customs processing, weather events, or other circumstances outside our control.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All designs, photographs, product descriptions, logos, artwork, website content, and images remain the property of Paws and Stitches unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission. Just ask.
Customers must ensure they have permission to use any photographs, images, logos, or artwork supplied for custom projects.
- PHOTOGRAPHY AND PORTFOLIO USE
Unless otherwise requested by the customer in writing, we reserve the right to photograph and display completed products on our website, social media accounts, advertising materials, and portfolio.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price paid for the product.
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes any rights or guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law.
